Alabama State Treasurer Kay Ivey reminded Alabamians today that only two weeks remain in the 2007 enrollment period for the Prepaid Affordable College Tuition Program.
The deadline to enroll is Dec. 31, but the first payment will not be due until Feb. 1.
Earlier this year, the PACT Program unveiled a new one-year contract option to make it more affordable for parents and grandparents to save. The one-year contract is currently being offered along with the existing four-year contract.
