Frankie Devon Odom

Mr. Frankie Devon Odom, 56, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at a Pensacola, Fla., hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Century and was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Century Historical Society. He was an employee of Bell South and the Pensacola Navel Museum and attended Pentacostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Odom and a sister, Faye Akins.
He is survived by four brothers, Howard Collins and Jonathan Collins, both of Pensacola, David Odom and Ricky Odom, both of Century; two sisters, Shannon Adair of Century and Fawn Bonds of Pace, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Hart officiating. Burial followed at Jay Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Jeff Fischer, Jengy Fischer, Ronnie Fischer, D.C. Odom, Mike Odom, and Daren Smith.
