Mrs. Louise J. Courtney, 97, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at a local hospital. She was a native of Brewton and had been a resident of Century for most of her life. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bluff Springs. She had been a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Nowling and Eloise Albritton, both of Pensacola, and Diane (Barry) DeVille of Pace, Fla.; a brother, Earl Johns of England; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 9 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter L. Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Crary Memorial Cemetery in Bluff Springs, Fla. with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Barry DeVille, Jeff Overhalser, Mikey Burkett, Daniel Kelly, Chris Shanner, and Robert Simmons.
