From Brewton to Andalusia on to Nashville and now to Montgomery, Ginny Smith has found her niche and a home to display her talent for ballet.
Smith, who is the daughter of Paul and Janice Smith of Brewton, will be dancing the lead in the Montgomery Ballet's production of “Lost: The Story of Carmen” Friday and Saturday.
“This is my first time in a lead role,” Smith said. “It's very exciting and I'm glad to be a part of Montgomery ballet.”
Elie Lazar, director and choreographer of the production, is also pleased with the abilities of Smith required for the role.
