JDCC hoops drop game

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk's basketball team dropped their second loss in as many games Saturday at home as they fell to Chattahoochee Valley 85-71.
The loss dropped the Warhawks to 6-16 on the season and 3-8 in conference play.
Chattahoochee Valley had five players score in double figures in the game as Donald Smith lead the Warhawks with 22 points. Justin Owens finished with 13 points and Will DuPont finished with 10.
The Warhawks were outscored 38-31 in the first half and 47-40 in the second half and fell by 14.
Owens and DuPont led with seven rebounds each.
JDCC will be back in action on Thursday when they take on Bishop State in Mobile. The Warhawks will be back in action at home in their final home game of the season on Saturday, Feb. 23 when they take on Faulkner at 7 p.m.
