Wow - for lack of a better word. We can not thank the communities of Brewton and Flomaton enough for your generosity.
The burdens of a rare illness such as Guillain-Barre syndrome can put quite a strain on a family, both emotionally and financially. It is people (both indivuals and organizations) out there that can truly make a difference and have a positive impact in someone's life. In our case, this is definitely true.
Thank you all for your generous gifts. The hospital visits, time, contributions, and above all, the prayers have helped so much.
Also, special thanks need to be given to the Barnett Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department for suggesting a benefit, the Flomaton Volunteer Fire Department for hosting this benefit, Chubby's Chicken for the delicious food, Wesley Patterson, Mark Bell for all of your hard work, Wilma Chandler and Robin Bell for collecting up all of those delicious cakes and above all for all of your hard work.
Thank you also for the friends that helped serve, helped deliver, sold tickets, bought tickets, and thank you all for your donations!
I thank God daily that we are fortunate to live in a community that is willing to help a fellow man when they are struck by an unexpected illness as Scott was.
Thank you all and may God continue to bless.
Susan Wilson and the family of Scott Wilson
