A Brewton man has been arrested and charged with rape, first degree; kidnapping, first degree; and burglary, first degree in connection with a break-in Monday morning, police said.
According to authorities, Carl McMillan was on parole from a Georgia correctional facility at the time of the incident.
Escambia County Sheriff's deputies made the arrest and transported McMillan to the Escambia County Detention Center.
