Area churches are, once again, joining together to present a series of messages in a celebration of Holy Week.
The churches make an effort to keep the same location from year to year while the pastors move around, said Ron Headley, associate pastor of First Baptist Church.
After the services, a lunch will be served for those who attend and may be on their lunch hour. Although there is no charge for the lunch, those who wish to do so can make a small donation.
The services will begin at noon each day and last about an hour. On Monday, March 17, the service will be St. Maurice Catholic Church at 202 East Jackson St. with the Rev. Jack Fitts of First Baptist Church of Brewton bringing the message.
Services on Tuesday, March 18, will be held at First United Methodist Church of Brewton on Belleville Avenue with the Rev. Gary Baldwin of St. Stephens Episcopal Church as the speaker.
The Rev. Ed Glaize, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Brewton, will bring the message at St. Stephens Episcopal Church at 1510 Escambia Ave. on Wednesday, March 19.
On Thursday, March 20, John Mathieu, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will bring the message at First Baptist Church of Brewton on Belleville Avenue.
On Friday, March 21, the Rev. Adrian Cook, pastor of St. Maurice Catholic Church, will be the speaker at First Presbyterian Church on Belleville Avenue.
