A tractor driver was a victim in an accident involving a semi-truck Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 31. Edward Wilson was driving southbound toward Brewton in a semi-truck loaded with shingles when the accident occurred. “I didn't realize what I had hit until I walked up out of the ditch,” Wilson said. Wilson was uninjured in the mishap. The driver of the tractor, whose identity was not known at press time, received non-lifethreatening injuries in the accident according to members of the Appleton Volunteer Fire Department.
