Covenant Hospice is seeking compassionate adult and teen volunteers who are interested in making a difference in the lives of patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses.
To better equip volunteers with needed education, an adult Volunteer Orientation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 16, at the Covenant Hospice Brewton branch office. The office is located at 1023 Douglas Ave., Suite 204.
The workshop is free, and refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Covenant Hospice will also hold Teen Volunteer Training from 2 to 4 p.m. April 15, at the Covenant Hospice branch office in Brewton.
The training is for teens who are 14 years old, and are interested in helping in their community while achieving community service hours.
The training is free, but registration is required.
Covenant Hospice Volunteers can provide respite care to patients, provide companionship and help in other programs such as 11th hour volunteer, bereavement and children's support services.
Even if you only have a little time to give, you can make a difference.
To register for a volunteer training or to learn more, please call Jodie Williams at 867-6993.
