W.S. Neal softball falls to McKenzie 16-5

The W.S. Neal Lady Eagle softball team dropped a 16-5 game to McKenzie at home Tuesday dropping their record to 4-9 on the season.
McKenzie held a 13-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fourth before the Eagles added two runs in the bottom of the inning to cut the lead to 13-2. McKenzie added three runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 16-2 lead. The Eagles added three in the bottom of the inning to fall 16-5.
Jessica Lambert was 2-for-3 with two singles for the Lady Eagles. Jennie Crawford was 2-for-3 with a single.
Renae Boatwright was 1-for-3 with a double and Jessica Jaro was 1-for-3 with a triple. Katie Elliott was 1-for-3 with a single. Morgan Cooper and Autumn Hinote were 1-for-2 with a single each.
The Lady Eagles will be back in action April 22 when they travel to Florala for a 4 p.m. game.
