Mr. William Bradford Wilcoxon, 44, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, in a Pensacola hospital.
He was a native of Cleveland, Tenn., but had resided in Century for the past 30 years, coming from Montevallo. He was a member of the Mason Lodge in Century, the Teamsters Union 991 in Mobile and of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Century. He worked for Miller Transporters as a truck driver and was a pilot.
He is survived by his parents, John and Grace Wilcoxon of Century; his wife,, Kimberly Wilcoxon of Century; three sons, Casey B. (Kelley) Wilcoxon of Clarkesville, Tenn., and William Colton Wilcoxon and John Daniel Wilcoxon, both of Century; a daughter, Hannah Blake Wilcoxon of Century; and a brother, Scobie L. Wilcoxon Sr. of Houston, Texas.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Hart officiating. Burial followed at Poplar Dell Cemetery in Century with Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Terry Bush, Greg Therrell, Jackie Carnley, Gary Gibbs, John Garner and Gene Lyles. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Barrow and Greg Sims.
