Mr. Donald L. Grant, 67, died Wednesday, May 2, 2008, in a health care facility. He was a native of Columbus, Ga., raised in the Pensacola area, and was a former resident of Brewton. He had a master's degree in criminal justice and worked in law enforcement for 39 years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria Grant; two daughters, Tammy (Chuck) McMullem and Tina Brazil; a sister, Lydia (Daniel) Davis of Pensacola; four grandchildren, Grant McMullen, Garrett McMullen, Jensen McMullen and Jimmy Conner; and many friends and family.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home on U.S. 29 in Cantonment, Fla.
Graveside services will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors. Enforcement officers will be the pallbearers, with Faith Chapel Funeral Home directing.
