Mr. Claude B. Shell, 91, died Monday, June 23, 2008, in a local hospital. He was a native of Atmore, and a long time resident of the Brewton area. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Janice Marie (Rick) Frye of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Kathy Jean (Jonathon) Unnasch of Austin, Texas, and Claudette Lee (Howard) Fore of Monticello, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at the Community Christ Church with Pastor Wayne Morris and High Priest Ray Langham officiating. Burial followed with military honors at Union Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Rick Frye, John Unnasch, Howard Fore, Howard Fore III, Brian Neese and Rudy Yuhasz.
