That is what one Brewton 10-and-11-year-old Little Leaguer said after claiming the district championship a couple of weeks ago in East Brewton.
The Brewton 10-and-11-year-olds swept the tournament to earn a berth in the state Little League tournament that begins Saturday in Sylacauga.
In their district tournament in East Brewton, Brewton eased into the second round of the tournament with a 15-5 win over Andalusia in the opening round of the tournament.
With the win over Andalusia to open the tournament, Brewton then beat Covington County 11-1 in round two after Covington County received an opening round bye.
After beating both Andalusia and Covington County, Brewton was on top of the winner's bracket and waiting on the Andalusia and Covington County winner to play for the championship.
After Andalusia beat Covington County, Brewton had to rally from a late 6-4 deficit to claim the win and the championship 8-7.
Brewton will open up their state tournament action Saturday in Sylacauga at 7 p.m. against District 3 winner Jackson.
If Brewton wins, they will advance and play District 4 at 7 p.m. Sunday.
If Brewton loses against Jackson, the All-Stars will drop into the loser's bracket and play the District 6 vs. District 7/Distrct 8 losers Monday at 7 p.m.
The roster for the Brewton 10-and-11-year-old team members include Luke Agerton, Dylan Etheridge, Walker Harris, Jones Manning, Trinn Miller, James Peach, Kellyn Winn, Patrick Ard, Hunter Harp, Christopher Jones, Todd Mayo, Keaton Parker and Tyler Reid.
Mark Manning is the manager of the Brewton 10-and-11-year-old team and Thomas Harp and Frank Reid serve as coaches for the All -Stars.
Steve Parker is the president of the Brewton Little League.
