Voters in Brewton and East Brewton will have a chance to meet their candidates for city council at a “Coffee and the Candidates” event Tuesday.
The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the ATN building on the Jefferson Davis Community College campus.
Coffee and the Candidates was organized by the Chamber's Governmental Affairs Committee.
The forum is open to the public, said Michelle Jones of the chamber.
After refreshments, candidates from Brewton and other local county candidates will have a chance to speak at 8:45 a.m., Jones said.
Sponsors for the program are BankTrust, Bank of Brewton, Colonial Bank and First Exchange Bank.”
