Mrs. Annie Lois Paul, 66, of Brewton, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, after an extended illness. She was a member of Pathway to Life Holiness Church and had been employed for more than 30 years with Community Action Agency of Baldwin, Escambia, Clarke, Conecuh and Monroe counties until her retirement in 2006. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Betty Jean Paul, Robert James Paul, Lenzie Simon Paul and Aaron Paul Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie L. Paul of Brewton; a son, Stephen L. (Nadine) Paul Sr. of Douglasville, Ga.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Paul Sr. of Brewton; two sisters, Rose M. (A.J.) Evans of Brooklyn, N.Y., and E. Michelle (Kenneth) Jimmerson of Montgomery; three brothers, Sammie L. (Pearlie) Paul of Theodore, Wiley A. (Ernestine) Paul of St. Peters, Mo., and Wayne G. (Verlinda) Paul of Atlanta; a dear uncle, Robert Paul of Brewton; aunts, Marie Jones of Detroit, Mich., and Alfretta Smith of Hempstead, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Nicole Paul and Stephen “Jay” Paul Jr., both of Douglasville, Ga.; and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at Christ Kingdom Ministry Center with Elder Herman Bradley and Bishop Michael Evans, Sr. officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
