Mr. Wiggins Washington Sr., 74, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008 at 3:47 a.m. at D.W, McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Pollard and was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Ruth Davis of Brewton; a son, Wiggins Washington Jr. of Pollard; four brothers, Charles, Robert, Richard, and Aubrey Washington; a sister, Georgia M. Toliver and a devoted friend, Mo Ruby Brown.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel of Brewton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Baptist Church in Pollard. Burial will follow at Pollard Cemetery with Jones Funeral Home directing.
