Mr. Harvey Gordon Baggett, 69, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Castleberry and a resident of Flomaton for 45 years. He was retired from Exxon Corporation after 27 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Angie (Gary) Wiggins of Flomaton, and Shannon Baggett of Century, Fla.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, JoAnne Carnley Williamson of Flomaton; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.J. and Helen Carnley of Century.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Irvin B. Stallworth officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing,
Pallbearers were Kevin Carnley, Shawn Emmons, Cory Johnson, Heath Johnson, Dusty Carnley and Jason Carnley.
