The Royal Road of Promise from the Garden of Eden to Bethlehem: The golden trail that began in the Garden of Eden of the promised one that would be born in Bethlehem, (Micah 5:2), a span of some four thousand years, more or less, and would overcome God's adversary, the destroyer, at the cross with His resurrection: We now know that the promised one was, and is, the Christ of Jesus, first promised in Genesis 3:15 as the ‘seed of the woman' immediately after Adam and Eve disobeyed God's first ‘thou shalt not'. We now know that the seed was Christ; the woman, the virgin Mary.
Adam and Eve's first son, they named Cain, which identifies with strike as with a lance, which , allows that they may have believed that Cain would kill the serpent, but instead, he killed his brother Abel.
The next promise was given to Abram, Genesis 12:3, “and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed,” which would be by the seed of the woman.
The next promise of the certain promised one came by Jacob, Genesis 49:10, “the scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet until Shiloh come; and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be.” (Micah 5:2)
Another promise was by one name Balam, Numbers 24:17, “I shall see Him, but not now: I shall behold Him, but not nigh: there shall come a start out as Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel.”
Deuteronomy 18:18 (15), the Lord speaking to Moses, “I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in His mouth; and He shall speak unto them all that I shall command Him.”
Psalms 2:3, “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and His anointed.”
Some 700 years before the birth of that promised one, the prophecy became more revealing: Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
The meaning of Immanuel is God with us. The Lord gave the prophet Isaiah more concerning the promised one. Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be on his shoulders, and his name shall be called Wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace.” In this is given to us his birth, his crucifixion, and resurrection to reign for ever.
The angel Gabriel spake to the virgin concerning the one that would be born of her; Luke 1: 31-33, “And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
Why the need of a virgin birth? In God's economy of salvation, there must need be sinless blood. None of the blood of the virgin Mary cruised in the vascular system of the embryo if the Christ of Jesus in the womb of this virgin; had it been so, then the Christ of Jesus would not have been able to offer up His sinless blood as the atonement for the covering, for the remission, and for the forgiveness of sins.
Leviticus 17:11, “the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I (God) have given it to you , you the altar (the cross of Christ) to make an atonement for your soul's for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”Genesis 3:4 and Hebrews 9:22, “without the shedding of blood is no remission of sins.” Thus is answered the need of the virgin birth, the seed of the woman to bring forth sinless blood.
Since this is true, it seems good that we become acquainted with this one at the cross before that time.

Shall is an imperative, it is going to be that every knee shall bow to Jesus Christ.
1 Corithians 5:7, “For Christ our Passover is sacrifice for us.”
