Mrs. Margie Nelson Clements, 84, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Crenshaw County, and a former resident of Panama City, Fla., before moving to Brewton 43 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Alco Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Hal (Sandra) Clements and Nelson Clements, both of Brewton; a brother, Dick Nelson of Prattville; a sister, Martha Lee Stricklin of Spanish Fort; two grandchildren, Tina Clements of Brewton, and Trisha Barrow of Montgomery; a great-granddaughter, Alana Barrow of Montgomery.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Green officiating. Burial will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
