Convicted child molester Kevin Lake will have to wait three more years before being considered for parole.
A parole hearing was held Tuesday and was attended by representatives of the Kathy Hill Child Advocacy Center in Brewton.
Lake, 45, is serving 10 years in prison for child-molestation after he pled guilty to the crime in November 2007.
Lake was accused of molesting an 8-year-old boy in Escambia County during an investigation in 2007. Those accusations prompted authorities to file federal charges in a case that involved Polaroid pictures of Lake molesting a teenage boy.
Lake is also serving a 30-year sentence on federal charges of child pornography. Lake pled guilty to the federal charges and was sentenced to the term in U.S. District Court in Mobile last year.
Lake pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of child pornography, first-degree sexual abuse and enticing a minor to enter a vehicle in U.S. District Court. Lake still faces state charges connected with the allegations in Escambia County Circuit Court.
