Mr. Homer Frank Carter. 67, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008. He was a native of Brewton and a faithful employee of D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, D.B. and Edna Carter.
He is survived by a sister, Edna Grace Johnson; a niece Debbie (Gerald) McRae; a nephew, Mark Andrews; and many friends.
A celebration of his life was held at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital on Friday, Oct. 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the B.J. Griffin Education Center/Auditorium.
Carter requested no flowers and asked for donations to go to The Escambia County Humane Society, 2763 South Blvd., Brewton.
