Mr. James B. Chandler Sr., 74, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, in Tampa. He was a native of Pahokee, Fla., and was a former resident of the Brewton area, graduating from W.S. Neal High School. He had been a resident of Tampa for the past 55 years and he was a retired maintenance mechanic.
He is survived by a son, James B. Chandler Jr.; a daughter, Sandra (Charlie) Bowling and their children, Nicholas and Samantha; his mother, Shirley C. Jarvis; a brother, Frank Chandler; a sister, Shirley Chandler; and his companion, Cheryl Heffner.
A memorial service was held Friday, Oct 24, at 2 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home in Riverview, Fla.
