Mrs. Eula Mae Stewart, 98, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008. She was a native of Atmore and was a member of Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church and Circle 3 of the Missionary Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennett Stewart; her daughter, Bennie Mae Howard; five brothers, two sisters and one grandson, Cary R. Stewart.
She is survived by her son, John W. (Dorothy) Stewart; a grandson, Bruce E. (Troy) Stewart and two granddaughters, Clara White and Shelia (Samuel) Cunningham; six great-granddaughters and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Sidney C. Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
