Mr. Dennis J. Smith, 40, of Appleton Road, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 in Evergreen. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. He was of the Baptist faith and employed at Trus Joist as an electrical programmer.
He is survived by a son, J.D. (Stefanie) Smith of Las Cruces, New Mexico; a daughter, Cassie Smith of Brewton; two brothers, Joey Smith of Chickasaw and Shannon (Stephanie) Odom of Brewton; a sister, Donna Goree of Saraland and a grandchild, Jasnie Smith.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Henry officiating. Burial followed at New Hopewell Cemetery in Castleberry with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
