Mr. John Lewis Still, 80, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at a Jay, Fla., health care facility after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County and was a retired loan officer with BankTrust. He was a member of the St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Inez Warner of Greenville, Ohio, and Sandra Gilliland of East Brewton; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Baldwin officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
