Mr. Ralph Leon Crutchfield, 61, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, in an Alabaster hospital. He was a native of Lenox and had been a resident of Pelham since 2002, coming from Mobile. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Fred Crutchfield and Lula Jerkins Crutchfield.
He is survived by a brother, John Wayne (Debbie) Crutchfield of Range, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at Hartwood Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial followed at Hartwood Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
