WSN B team 3-1 with recent wins

After suffering their first loss on Tuesday to Frisco City, the W.S. Neal B team Eagles got back on the winning side of things when they defeated J.U. Blacksher 36-20 Thursday night at home.
The win improved W.S. Neal to 3-1 this season.
W.S. Neal held an 8-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and claimed a 19-12 lead at the half after outscoring the Bulldogs 11-6 in the second quarter.
In the third quarter, W.S. Neal outscored J.U. Blacksher 9-2 to take a 28-14 lead.
In the fourth quarter, W.S. Neal held an 8-6 advantage and took the 16-point win, 36-20.
Tra Dixon led the W.S. Neal Eagle B team with 13 points and Ashton Elliott followed with seven points in the win.
In the game Thursday night, W.S. Neal jumped out to a 5-0 lead at the 4:14 mark in the first quarter as Dixon scored the first four points for the Eagles and Monterius Culliver added a free throw for the Eagles.
W.S. Neal held an 8-6 lead after the first quarter.
In the second quarter, W.S. Neal took a 12-6 lead with 4:30 left in the half when Colby McCorvey and Dixon scored for the Eagles.
Dalton Millican connected for a 3-pointer for the Eagles with 3:12 left in the half to give W.S. Neal a 15-8 lead and held a 19-12 lead at the half.
In the third quarter, the Eagles held the Bulldogs to only two points in the quarter while scoring nine to take a 28-14 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, W.S. Neal went on a 14-0 run to claim a 36-14 lead with 2:24 left in the game.
The Bulldogs cut the lead to 36-20 with 23 seconds left in the game after a 6-0 run, but W.S. Neal held on for the 16-poiint win.
W.S. Neal B team 42, Flomaton 25
In an earlier game against Flomaton, W.S. Neal improved to 2-0 with a 42-25 in over Flomaton.
W.S. Neal jumped out to an early 8-6 lead in the first quarter and outscored Flomaton 9-2 in the second quarter to claim a 17-8 lead at the half.
In the third quarter, W.S. Neal outscored Flomaton 15-6 to take a 32-14 lead. In the fourth quarter, Flomaton outscored W.S. Neal 11-10, but the Eagles were able to hold on for the 42-25 win.
Scorers for W.S. Neal were not known as of press time.
Frisco City 38, W.S. Neal 29
On Tuesday, the W.S. Neal Eagle B team dropped their first game of the season with a 38-29 loss to Frisco City.
Ashton Elliott led W.S. Neal with 11 points and Monterius Culliver followed with 10 points in the loss.
Frisco City outscored W.S. Neal 7-6 in the first quarter, but W.S. Neal cut into the Whippet lead with 12 points in the quarter to Frisco City's 10 to give W.S. Neal an 18-17 lead at the half.
In the third quarter, Frisco City outscored W.S. Neal 7-3 to reclaim their lead 24-21.
In the fourth quarter, Frisco City added to their lead with a 14-8 outscoring of W.S. Neal to claim the nine-point win 38-29.
W.S. Neal was set to play at Excel Friday night and will be back in action on Monday at Northview at 4:30 p.m.
W.S. Neal will be back at home on Friday, Dec. 12 against T.R. Miller. Game time is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. with the B teams playing against each other.
