A section of County Road 4 will be closed this week as county officials begin a widening and resurfacing project.
Starting Monday, Escambia County will be conducting road construction on County Road 4 - also known as Bradley Road - in an area about .5 miles to 1.5 miles east of the Dixie Highway intersection.
The work is necessary to facilitate construction of Project No. STPOA-2703, consisting of widening and resurfacing County Road 4 from the Dixie Highway intersection to the Covington County line.
Citizens should expect the section of the road to be closed during the daytime hours this week and overnight Monday and Wednesday, county officials said.
