Mrs. Sylvia Faye Cain Johnson, 57, of Baggett Circle, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, in a Birmingham medical facility after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. She was a member of the Appleton Freewill Baptist Church and was retired from Judy Bond. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Johnson of Brewton; a son, Jeffery Johnson of Brewton; a brother, Ronnie (Betty) Cain of Brewton; and two sisters, Bonnie (Hayward) Henry and Barbara Wilson, both of Brewton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. at Appleton Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Cole officiating. Burial followed at Cooper Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
