Tiger B team falls to Hillcrest

The T.R. Miller Tiger B team fell to 0-4 with recent losses to Andalusia and Hillcrest.
The B team lost to Andalusia, 51-16 and to Hillcrest by a score of 44-24.
The B team Tigers will be back in action Saturday, Jan. 3 when they travel to Butler to take on area opponent Choctaw County.
Andalusia 51,
T.R. Miller B team 16
The Andalusia Bulldogs built an 18-2 first quarter lead and took a 10-3 scoring lead in the second quarter to hold a 28-5 lead at the half.
In the second half, Andalusia outscored the Tigers 17-4 to extend their lead to 36 points, 45-9.
In the fourth quarter, T.R. Miller outscored the Bulldogs 7-6, but fell 51-16.
Kori Jackson led T.R. Miller with eight points followed by three each from Caleb Dickey and Antonio Payne. Marc Edge added two points in the loss.
Hillcrest 44,
T.R. Miller B team 24
The Hillcrest Jaguar B team outscored T.R. Miller 9-2 in the first quarter and 16-7 in the second quarter to hold a 16-point halftime lead of 25-9.
The Jaguars used the big lead to defeat the Tigers B team by 20 points, 44-24, to drop the Tigers to 0-4.
Hillcrest held a 7-2 advantage in the third quarter while T.R. Miller took a 13-12 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Caleb Dickey led the Tigers with six points in the loss.
Kori Jackson and Darrion Salter both had four points in the loss. Tyler Dehoff had five in the loss.
