Students work to ‘Save-A-Life'

As part of a fund raising effort for Save-A-Life foundation, the children at St. Stephen's Preschool took home empty baby bottle banks in the fall.
The students recently returned the bottles to the school.
Each of the bottles was used to collect coins and other donations to help in the fund raising event.
As a result of their efforts, the St. Stephen's Prescool students collected a total of $546.19 for the foundation.
The money has been donated to Sav-a-Life for their new parent education classes.
Jessica Fountain, the Brewton director for Sav-a-Life, accepted the donation and commented on the success of the preschools for saving money.
Families of the preschoolers also donated some new and used baby items to benefit the program.
The Save-A-Life foundation of is a family and parent counseling center.
The organization is headquartered in Atmore with satellite offices located on West Jackson Street in Brewton.
Hours of the Brewton office are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Wednesday.
