The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce will end the anticipation of the announcement of Brewton's Citizen of the Year at the group's annual banquet.
The banquet has been set for March 5 at the Country Club of Brewton beginning at 6 p.m.
Crane said other criteria to be considered for nominees should be their business or professional achievements.
Those not directly involved in a business may also be considered, Crane said.
Along with the announcement of the Citizen of the Year award, guests at the banquet will also have an opportunity to hear guest speaker, Bradley Byrne who serves as the chancellor of the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education.
The chamber banquet will begin with a social time from 6 to 6:45 p.m. with dinner to be served immediately following.
