JDCC falls, now 0-19 overall

Will Dupont led the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team with 13 points, three assists and seven rebounds, but it was not enough as JDCC fell to 0-18 overall and to 0-8 in conference play with a 74-54, 20-point home loss to Chattahoochee Valley on Saturday.
JDCC was outscored 34-19 in the first half and 40-35 in the second half to fall in the game by 20.
Tysean Thompson had 12 points and two steals for JDCC and TaCory Marshall led JDCC with one block in the loss.
Brandon Howard had six points for the Warhawks and Justin Burroughs, Jonathan Pascley had five points.
Antron Jones chipped in four points and DeAngelo Kirkland added four points.
JDCC was set to take on Alabama Southern on Monday and lost 91-63 to fall to 0-19 and 0-9 in conference play.

JDCC will travel to Wallace Selma on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The Warhawks will be back at home on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. against Southern Union.
All games are conference games for the Warhawks.
