Mr. Tommy Edward Williams, 79, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009 and he was preceded in death by his parents, Priscillia and Hubert Hartley; a sister, Georgia Alexander; and his guardian, Ida Bell Culliver.
He is survived by two daughers, Sandra W. Floyd and Cillar L. Davis, both of Brewton; four brothers, Jackson (Cora) Williams of Clewiston, Fla., Joe (Amy) Hartley of Brewton, Simpson (Emma) Hartley and Darnell (Lavada) Hartley, all of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Nellie (Daniel) Robertson of Pensacola; nine grandchildren, Marvel Davis, Amanda (Alden) Kirby, Monica (Nakiea) Fountain, Tonya (Michael) Howard, Brad Davis, Yashica Thurmon, Rodney Floyd, and De'Miyah and Damon Floyd; 17 great-grandchildren; a friend, Jewel Richardson; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. at Christ Kingdom Ministries Center with Bishop Herman Bradley officiating. Burial followed at Second Bethlehem Church Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
