Mr. Joe Cecil Prime, Jr., 63, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Fannie Mae Prime; a son, Joe C. Prime III; two brothers, Hugh James Prime and Jerry Prime; four sisters, Annie Mae Binion, Myrtle Lee Johnson, Mary Ann Prime and Jo Mae Prime.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie L. Prime; three daughters, Loressa (Larry) Tolbert, Tracy Prime Palmer and Mary (Kenneth) Walker; four brothers, Willie Prime, Jackie Prime, Steve Prime and Terrance Prime; three sisters, Ireter Hollinger, Rosie (Jessie) Dexter and Darlene (Jaye) Jernigan; nine grandchildren, Whitney, Keela, Crystal, Dominique, Kyran, Marc, JaLisa, Brittany and Kenneth; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m. at Presley-Fluker Funeral Chapel in Brewton with Minister Ellis James Davis officiating. Burial followed at Monroe Beulah Church Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral home directing.
