Mr. David Glen Davison, 48, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. He was a native of Brewton and a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., before moving back to Brewton in 1999. He was a maintenance worker in the hotel business and was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Greene.
He is survived by a sister, Cynthia Savage of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; a half-brother, Rick Mills of Pensacola; stepfather, Richard B. Davison of Pensacola; two aunts, Jeanette Wilson of Brewton and Frances Ewton of Panama City, Fla.; five cousins; and other extended family.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Elim Baptist Church in the Roberts community with the Rev. Harold McGraw officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
