JDCC suffers two losses, now 0-21

The 2008-2009 JDCC basketball season just seems to be getting longer for the Warhawks as they dropped to 0-21 overall and to 0-11 in conference play with losses to Wallace State-Selma and to LBW.
JDCC lost to Wallace State-Selma 93-70 and fell to LBW 76-63.
The Warhawks will be back in action on Thursday, Feb. 19 against Enterprise at 7 p.m. at home in Brewton.
Wallace State 93, JDCC 70
JDCC shot 48 percent from the field and was 2-for-15 from 3-point land and 6-of-14 from the charity stripe as they dropped a 23-point loss to Wallace State-Selma.
JDCC trailed 43-36 at the end of the first half and was outscored 50-34 in the second half to fall 93-70.
Justin Burroughs led JDCC with 16 points and seven assists.
Will Dupont joined Burroughs and two other Warhawks in double figures with 14 points and Antron Jones and Jonathan Pascley both had 10 points.
Pascley had two blocks and Jones had two.
Jones followed with seven rebounds and Tysean Thompson had six steals in the loss.
LBW 76, JDCC 63
The Warhawks fell to 0-21 overall and 0-11 in conference play with a 13-point loss to LBW in Andalusia.
Burroughs led JDCC in four statistical categories. Burroughs led the Warhawks with 24 points, two steals, one block and three assists.
Jones led with seven rebounds.
Dupont also led JDCC with one block and two steals and Chase Cornelius had one steal for the Warhawks in the loss.
JDCC shot 36 percent from the field in the loss and was 4-of-16 from 3-point land and was 17-of-27 from the free throw line.
LBW led 36-26 at the half and outscored JDCC 40-37 in the second half to claim the 13-point win.
Pascley had 13 points in the loss for JDCC and DeAngelo Kirkland added seven points.
Dupont and Thompson both had six points in the loss for JDCC against LBW Thursday in Andalusia.
JDCC will play Enterprise on Thursday at home and will take on Alabama Southern Community College out of Monroeville on Saturday at 7 p.m. at home.
JDCC will travel to Faulkner on Monday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. and Bishop on Thursday, Feb. 26 in their final home game of the month of February and the final game of the 2008-2009 season for JDCC.
All games for the JDCC Warhawks will be conference games and will begin at 7 p.m.
