Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pat” Abbott Majercik, 58, of the Cedar Creek community, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Mississippi and a former resident of Mountain View, Ark., before coming to Castleberry 14 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Willard Huggins of Memphis, Tenn.; her husband of 25 years, Joe Majercik of Cedar Creek; three stepdaughters, Leecia (Matt) Santiago of Honolulu, Hawaii, Tracy (Jeff) Towe of Memphis, and Mary Rae (Steve) Moore of Mountain View; one brother, Dwight (Sheryl) Abbott of Memphis; two sisters, Gail (Steve) Mullen of Memphis, and Sheila (Danny) Davidson of Williston, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 11 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Castleberry, with the Rev. Jacob Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
