Mrs. Cloyce Ann Grissett, 90, died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at a local hospital. She was a native of Fayette County, and a resident of Flomaton for most of her life. During her working years, she worked as a seamtress for Vanity Fair and she was a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (T.J.) Godwin of Pineview; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Doug Hogg and the Rev. Ralph Morgan officiating. Burial followed at New Bethlehem Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Kenneth Rowe, Lamar Crews, Rayford Smith, Danny Hendricks, Gene Godwin and John Finch.
