The W.S. Neal Eagle baseball team had their record fall to 6-4 overall with a double-header loss to baseball powerhouse Fairhope.
The loss was the fourth straight for the Eagles after starting the season 6-0.
The Eagles fell 5-0 in game one and 11-0 in game two.
The Eagles will be back in action on Thursday at Flomaton.
Game one:
Fairhope 5,
W.S. Neal 0
The Eagles managed only four hits in  game one against Fairhope as they lost 5-0 in game one to fall to 6-3.
Dodson Herrington was 1-for-3 along with Tyler Cross at the plate.
William Shell was 1-for-1 and Taylor Cash was 1-for-2.
Shell took the loss on the mound for the Eagles. He allowed five hits and struck out four in six innings.
Game two:
Fairhope 11,
W.S. Neal 10
After managing only four hits in game one, the Eagles had only three in game two as they lost 11-0 and fell to 6-4 with the loss.
Herrington was 1-for-2 at the plate and Jake Cannon was 1-for-3 with a double. Christian Purvis was 1-for-2 with a double for the Eagles in the loss.
Cross took the loss on the mound for the Eagles. Cross allowed 12 hits and struck out two in the 11-run loss.
The W.S. Neal Eagles were set to take on Central at home on Monday afternoon, but due to rain in the area on Monday and the weekend, the game was canceled.
As of Monday, W.S. Neal head coach Coy Campbell said there will be no makeup game with Central.
