A 20-minute ride changed the face of a portion of property at Dogwood Hills and the Brewton City Park on Friday when the gazebo was towed through the streets of Brewton.
The gazebo was removed from the downtown park and placed at its new home at Dogwood Hills and Gary Hill, director at the facility, is excited about the future of the construction.
Hill said the move Friday was a short one with no problems towing the structure to it’s new resting place.
Hill said assistance from the Brewton Police Department, as well as work by the movers of Williams House Movers, proved to be a successful combination.
Hill also said the gazebo is just one portion of planned changes at the site of Dogwood Hills.
Summer activities will be getting underway just as the work on the gazebo and sidewalks is finishing, Hill said.
