JDCC Lady Warhawk softball splits recent games, now 11-14

In a recent four-game stretch of games, the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk softball team went 2-2 to have their record at 11-14 now.
JDCC won game one against LBW 4-0 before losing game two 4-2. Against Enterprise-Ozark, JDCC lost game one 1-0 and won game two 6-1.
The Lady Warhawks had their games on Wednesday and Thursday against Meridian and Bishop State respectively canceled due to rain in the area.
Game one: JDCC 4, LBW 0
In game one against LBW, JDCC scored one run in the fourth inning and three in the sixth inning and pitcher Ashleigh Allgood allowed three hits and no runs to blank LBW to improve to 10-12 on the season.
Allgood went the complete game and allowed two walks and eight strikeouts to go along with her no runs and three hits.
Allgood was also 1-for-3 at the plate while CaSandra Yarbrough was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the Lady Warhawks.
Sarah Vardeman was 2-for-3 and Megan Denney was 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Jessica Morris was 1-for-4 and Amber Wilson was 3-for-4 to help lead the Lady Warhawks in the win.
Game two: LBW 4, JDCC 2
With the game tied at 2-2 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, LBW scored two runs in the inning to get a 4-2 win over the Lady Warhawks of JDCC and drop them to 10-13.
Allgood was 3-for-4 for JDCC and Vardeman was 2-for-3. Tiffany Jean Duncan was 1-for-2 and Kristin Myers, Morris and Aleah Payne were all 1-for-4.
Carla Ray went four innings on the mound and allowed four hits, one earned run, one walk, and struck out three.
Kayla McKnight went two innings and allowed one earned run and struck out two.
Game one: EO 1, JDCC 0
JDCC was held to only two hits as they dropped a 1-0 decision to Enterprise Ozark to fall to 10-14.
Myers and Yarbrough were both 1-for-3 with the only two hits for JDCC.
Allgood took the loss on the mound for JDCC. Allgood went 7 1/3 innings and allowed no earned runs on three hits, walked two and struck out five in the loss.
Game two: JDCC 6, EO 1
After failing to score in game one and only having two hits, JDCC scored six runs in game two and pounded out 14 hits to get a 6-1 win and improve to 11-14.
Carla Ray picked up the win on the mound for the Lady Warhawks.
Ray went four innings and allowed one earned run on five hits and struck out one.
Allgood went three innings and allowed two hits and struck out one.
Allgood was 3-for-4 with one RBI and a double.
Vardeman was 1-for-4 and Duncan was 1-for-4. Myers was 1-for-3 and Morris was 4-for-5 with three RBIs and a double as she led JDCC at the plate.
Yarbrough was 1-for-2 and Payne was 1-for-2. Wilson was 1-for-4 with one RBI in the win.
Antwinique Harris was 1-for-1 with one RBI.
