Mary Livingston Parker, 89, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009. She was a native of Belleville and a long time resident of Brewton.  She was a retired elementary school teacher and a homemaker. She was a life long Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church of Brewton for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Phillip Parker.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Parker (Lee) Bain of Brewton; her son, Phillip L. (Ruth) Parker of Brewton; three grandchildren, Leslie Bain Haas of Birmingham, John Phillip Parker of Auburn and Emily Parker Robinson of Brewton; and four great-grandchildren, Laney Elizabeth Haas, Anna Louise Parker, Emily Livingston Robinson and Frances Ruth Porter Robinson.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Brewton. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing. Memorials may be sent to the United Methodist Children’s Home or to the First United Methodist Church.
