The Rev. Ervie Lee Blair, 68, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at a Santa Rosa County hospital. He was a native of Appleton, and a resident of Flomaton for the past 30 years. He attended the Gospel Light Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Florence Blair of Flomaton; two sons, Daniel Lee (Rachel) Blair of Evergreen, and Randall Lewis Blair of Flomaton; a daughter, Esther Marie Blair of Aberdeen, Md.; eight grandchilden; two brothers, Bill Blair of Robinsonville, and Wayne Blair of Opp; and two sisters, Martha Ann West of Wallace, and Wanda Faye Blair of Appleton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 29, at 11 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Frankie Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Larry Little, Jesse Blair, Jason Covan, Paul Hasting, Clay Blair and Donnie Macks
