Mr. Arthur Floyd Eddins, 85, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in an Opp hospital. He was a native of Atmore, and had lived most of his life in the Brewton area. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as an office manager at Rainbow Paint and Sandblasting Company. He was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ouida Skinner Eddins; his parents, John Trammel Eddins and Maude Wright Eddins; and a brother, John Wesley Eddins.
He is survived by a daughter, Paula (Bernie) Sellers of Brewton; two grandchildren, Heath (Sonya) Eddins of Dallas, Texas, and Rhonda (Kevin) Ray of Pensacola, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Brennan Ware, Mason Ware and Lauren Elizabeth Ray; three sisters, Lucille McKean of Booneville, Ind., Gladys Johns of Bay Minette, and Jeanette (Ira) Weatherly of Dothan.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at North Brewton Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
