Two T.R. Miller Lady Tiger senior basketball players signed scholarships Monday morning to play basketball at Enterprise-Ozark Community College.
Lady Tigers Catherine Green and Kesha Peterson signed with Lady Boll Weevils head coach Wesley Person.
Person, a former NBA player, said that Green and Peterson, along with other things bring one major thing to the team and that is the ability to know how to win.
Person said he is excited to have Peterson because of her defense.
Person said Green’s leadership was a key to why he wanted to sign her.
Person said he was pleased with both the young ladies and will help them compete and work towards the next level.
Green and Peterson helped led the Lady Tigers to a 26-2 record this past season and win the class 3A state championship for the first time since 2002.
This is the first scholarship signing for T.R. Miller since the 2006 season according to Jackson.
