Mrs. Janie Miller Croley, 78, died Friday, May 8, 2009, at a Mobile hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Range, and a former resident of Lakeland, Fla., before moving to Atmore 40 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Williams and two grandchildren, Nichole Williams and Jason Williams.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jack Croley Jr. of atmore; two sons, Chuck Williams and Doug Williams, both of Brewton; a daughter, Judy Watson of Brewton; two sisters, Lily Wells and Shirley Kenny, both of Atmore; five grandchildren, Tammy Williams, Johnny Watson, Holly Williams, Zachary Williams, Steven Williams and Dustin Williams; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, May 12, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Cemetery with the Rev. Jesse Wood officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
