Mrs. Vivian Carol Farish, 67, died Monday, May 18, 2009, at a Santa Rosa County hospital. She was a native of Brewton, and a resident of Jay, Fla. She attended the Holiness Church and was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Buddy Farish and her parents, John and Katie Butler Turner.
She is survived by two sons, John Farish of Jay, and Lane (Teressa) Farish of Damascus; her daughter, Angie Farish of Jay; four grandchildren, Danielle Ates, Daniel Ates, Arron Farish and Jacob Farish; two brothers, James (Helen) Butler of Pensacola, Fla., and Gwin (Sue) Butler of Montgomery;  and three sisters, Wilma Jean (Leon) Pierce of Montgomery, Nell (Ed) Richburg, and Elvannia (Dale) Findley, both of Flomaton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 22, at 1 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Richburg and the Rev. Brian Richburg officiating.  
Burial will follow at Cora Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pall bearers were Greg Findley, Destry Findley, Steve Richburg, Tony Richburg, Todd White and Joey Williams.
